10:09 pm [daphnerakstar]	acoustic guitar for sale *x-posted from my journal* mods, if this is not allowed.. kindly delete this post. :) thank you! hey im selling my acoustic guitar :) i already got rid of my first acoustic guitar i got from my uncle and now im selling my second guitar. ( behind the cut ) and another reason why im selling it is because my guitar teacher (kuya benjo) advised me not to play any acoustic guitar from now on especially if i want to focus on shredding (fast plucking/picking). i'm only allowed to play electric or classical(nylon) guitars (i'll have 3 guitars - 2 electric, 1 classical - once i sell this acoustic). again, my acoustic guitar is for sale. click for the friendster classifieds version this guitar is good. it's a durango acoustic guitar made in china. (yeap, hindi lang electronics ang made in china) i was surprised when i learned that it was made in china. i never thought that chinese guys would make good instruments :P hehe anyhow, i bought it 2 years ago because of its warm tone. it sounds good and still looks good too. i clean the guitar with pledge. the shine is still there and although it has some scratches, it still looks new (thanks to pledge.. hehe). :) i only changed this guitar's strings twice (using d'addario strings) it comes with a soft case and the good thing about this guitar is that it has d'addario exp (extended play) light phosphor bronze acoustic guitar strings. these strings are one of the best strings for an acoustic guitar. it costs around 750php [more expensive than the electric guitar strings! (which would cost around 300-450php)]. :P the price: 4k, negotiable for more details, you could just post a comment on this entry or you could im me on ym (id: daphne_pretty). thanks! :D Current Mood: i hope you buy my guitar :P

10:05 pm [moonstar88admin]	Happy New Year! Hey guys, here are some of the recent Moonstar88 pictures. Some were taken during the band's first gig at Gweilo's in Eastwood City Walk and the others were during the Sunday Sessions with 99.5 RT. Enjoy! What's up with the band? They're now in the process of recording their first single for their upcoming third album. Recent buzz is that they're working with a US-based producer. Anyways, hope you guys watch out for that. 7:24 am [giantmais]	Backbeat Christmas Party at Mayrics Isang oras lang ang tulog ko at andito na naman ako sa opisina. Galing kasi kami kagabi sa party ng Backbeat sa Mayrics. Sa mga di nakakaalam, Backbeat po ang nagma-manage sa mga bandang Parokya ni Edgar, Cheese, Kamikazee, The Youth, Teeth, at saka Moonstar88. Bale kagabi, ang sumalang Kamikazee, Moonstar88, tsaka Parokya ni Edgar. Kasama sana Stonefree kaya lang di sila nakatugtog kasi may sakit silang lahat sa banda. Eniweys, masaya yung tugtugan tsaka andaming tao. Unang sumampa yung Kamikazee. Tulad ng dating gawi, riot ang set nila. Unang kinanta ni Jay yung bago nilang kanta na ang pamagat eh "Sobrang Init". Sa pang-apat nilang kanta, medyo napagod na si Jay. Sabi niya, "Buti pa yung Bamboo maski na mahaba yung set nila, pagkatapos nilang tumugtog ang popogi pa rin nila. Ako sa unang kanta lang ako gwapo. Pag pangalawang kanta, cute na lang ako. Sa pangatlong kanta, ang tanda na ng itsura ko...". Hehe. Tapos kumanta pa siya ng "Take Me Out of the Dark" ni Gary V. Katuwa din yung set ng Moonstar88. Bale ang daming nag-jam. Nung mga unang kanta, nag-gitara si Gabby ng Parokya ni Edgar. Unang beses ko tong nakitang walang gitara si Maysh na kumakanta. Medyo nakakapanibago. Tapos sa kalagitnaan, naki-jam si Dodong Cruz ng The Youth. Kagabi ko lang siya napanood ng live. Ang husay pala. Kumanta siya ng "Crazy for You". Ang galeng. Tapos nung huling kanta nila, naki-jam si Jay ulit ng Kamikazee sa "Torete". Gusto pa sana naming mag-stay para sa Parokya ni Edgar kaya lang ang daming tao tsaka ang init na sa Mayrics. Pero ok pa rin. Masaya, kasi noon ko lang nakitang medyo nabuo ang Backbeat family. Ayun lang. Meri Krismas!
